It lies on the border between the Gauteng and Mpumalanga provinces. The Bronkhorstspruit dam is today a major attraction due to its being one of the most productive bank angling spots in the country. The Nan Hua Buddhist Temple - the largest in the southern hemisphere - is also located in the area.
